About The Bead Bungalow

We’ve been sourcing beads and findings for 14 years, and still get excited every time we discover something new and beautiful. And yes — I say we because I don’t run this shop alone. My pal Debbie helps me hunt for new beads, explore color combinations, and dream up bead collaborations that inspire both of us. Many of the items you see here started as one of our shared “what if?” moments.

I’ve spent years building relationships with trusted suppliers so I can source products that we can both admire and create with. From Czech glass beads to TierraCast and other high‑quality findings, every item is chosen with care and a maker’s eye for detail.

I make jewelry myself, and every item in my shop is a quality component I’d be proud to use in my own designs. If it doesn’t meet my standards, it doesn’t make it onto my shelves. Sometimes I even create a project just so you can see how a bead or finding looks in a finished piece. I don’t pretend to know everything about jewelry making — but I’m always learning, always experimenting, and always willing to dig up an answer, tutorial, or video to help you in your creative process.

Sometimes a customer requests a specific item, and it ends up becoming a best seller. So please feel free to tell me if there’s something you need for your collection — it might be something I’d love too but just haven’t hunted down yet. Your ideas often lead me to treasures I wouldn’t have found on my own.

Navigating the rising costs of materials and ever‑changing trade regulations has been challenging, but I will always offer a fair price while still keeping my business healthy. My goal is to balance affordability with quality so you can create pieces that last without breaking your budget. This shop is my job — my main source of income — and a priority for me every single day. I put my time, energy, and heart into keeping it running smoothly so you always have a reliable place to find quality components.

When you place an order, it’s handled entirely by me — start to finish. I do the purchasing, the photographing, the listing, the packing, and the shipping. That means your order is processed accurately, thoughtfully, and on time, every time. And I’m always available to answer a question or address a problem with an order.
