When/How do you ship?
I ship Monday-Friday and some Saturdays. Orders received Monday - Thursday by 4pm Pacific Time almost always ship the following day. Orders received Friday - Sunday ship the following Monday -- If Monday is a postal holiday I will ship as many of the Friday orders as I can on Saturday. Saturday and Sunday orders will ship on Tuesday, after the holiday.
I take care of my grandson M-Th so I pack orders from the current day in the evening. I drop them off at the Post Office very early in the mornings M-Th. Fridays I go to the post office in the afternoon.
What size is the hole on the beads?
Each listing should have detailed specs on the size of the beads and the hole. If the beads do not have a size listed you should assume its approximately .8mm - 1mm in size. Most of the Czech glass beads have a hole suitable for .8mm elastic, wire or pins. The head and eye pins I sell will fit 99% of the beads I sell. The exception would be very tiny beads that might have a smaller hole and require a 22g or 24g pins.
If the listing is for a "large hole bead" -- the specs/measurements in the listing details will tell you the size of the hole. If I missed this detail, please reach out via message or email @ thebeadbungalowca@gmail.com.
Returns - Shipping -- Who Pays?
For specifics, please see My Policies - section Returns -- but in general, if I've made a mistake I am responsible for any additional shipping fees to correct that mistake. However, if the mistake was on your end, you would be responsible for sending the items back for a refund.What do I do if my order is stuck in transit or lost?
Most shipments will be delivered within 3-8 business days. If your package has not been received in one week you should first check tracking via the USPS website. A tracking number is sent to you when your shipping label is generated.
If your tracking shows the package is delayed (sometimes they sit in a hub for a day or two) please be patient. If it's delayed more than a couple days you can file a Missing Mail or Lost Package inquiry with the USPS. It's best if you do this because they ask for your information and will contact you with any updates. https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm
Please do not wait longer than 14 days to track down a missing package. The sooner it's addressed, the better the chances are of finding it!
If your order says DELIVERED -- but you don't have it in your sights:
- Check with other family members who may have brought the mail in.
- Check your beading area, sometimes we get carried away and order several items from several different shops. You might have received the package and forgotten or misplaced it. It happens, you are not alone.
- Check with neighbors, to see if the package was delivered to an incorrect address.
- Check the shipping address on your order. Sometime we forget to update addresses or a stored address gets pulled in error. Make sure it was addressed properly.
If you've done all of these and you still can't find the package, you'll need to take the tracking number to the USPS or speak with your carrier and ask them if there is a chance it was delivered elsewhere (further than a neighbors house). Unfortunately, once it's marked delivered it's impossible for me to track anything down. But, if you can't find the package and it's lost forever, contact me so we can take the next steps to get you reimbursed.
