The dots/holes on the inside of the clasp keep it secure and from sliding apart while wearing. There is a small notch on both ends (see photos). You can use your finger nail to separate the two parts and open the clasp. Passion Fashion uses precise "press-fit" technology reducing the risk of magnets falling off - giving these a secure and beautiful design.
