There are so many possibilities for these components. I've tried to create a few examples to get some ideas going for you. The chandelier pendants shown are also sold here in my shop!
I think these work great for a connector in bracelets and necklaces (as shown) but could also be used to create a long dangle earring.

Measurements: The irregular shaped polygon is 11mm wide x 22.5mm tall - the base is 1.75mm thickness with the raised (color) section adding another 2mm to the thickness.
These components are beautiful, Antiqued Silver Plated Zamak with an enamel inlay of color. This one has a Black enamel inlay.
